Course Description:
Accommodation Practices introduces students to the operational, service, and management principles involved in providing quality lodging services within the hospitality industry. The course focuses on the practical skills and knowledge required to manage accommodation facilities such as hotels, lodges, guest houses, and other hospitality establishments.
Students will learn key areas including front office operations, housekeeping management, guest service standards, room preparation and maintenance, hygiene and safety procedures, and effective communication with guests. The course also emphasizes professionalism, teamwork, and customer care to ensure high levels of guest satisfaction.
Through practical demonstrations, simulations, and supervised practice, learners will develop competencies in room servicing, laundry operations, reservation handling, and coordination between accommodation departments.
